How I wondered what this day would be like. I could not get much sleep and ended up waking early in the morning. 1AM - Beat that. I wonder if it was just a longing to get to class or I was just darn nervous. Either way, I was up and just could not sleep. Not the best thing when you really need the sleep. Not to mention that some of my friends in India thought that 9pm there was 9 pm here... That was not funny. Grrr... But anyway, I was finally asleep by 3 or so I guess; only to wake up half an hour late.
This was not becoming the good start that I expected. I thought it would be better, however, I did manage to get to the class before time and that was really great.
Workshop day it was today and we had a full 6 hour session. I felt engaged the whole time and more than just being engaged and not able to think of anything, I was able to let my thoughts run wild and think of the various things. My mind 'really' started working like it was free to do nothing else. Its amazing what a nice warm class with others who are willing to challenge your intellect and give an environment that is enabling can do to a person. By the end of the workshop, we were given 2 assignments. For a first day; its not bad at all.
During the break, I did however find the campus extremely beautiful. Really green. :D
I came home to check up on all the reading up I had to do and I must say it is a shocking... but hey, I don't think i'll be sad to do the reading. I'm looking forward to it and i'm sure i'll enjoy it also. Its a great way to start I guess.
So, Day one is done; I wonder what Day 2 will be like. I still don't have my field placement done and that is not very good for me. I guess i'll have to make a call sometime and work it out. Lets find out what happens.
